Avery is a proud Georgia native and a graduate of the University of Virginia. After spending time in Washington DC’s political world, Colorado’s horse-training arena, and Norfolk, VA’s education non-profit sector, Avery made her way to the Wilmington area in 2016 when she married an active duty Marine based at Camp Lejeune. Since then, she and her husband have been managing and growing their own real estate investment business comprised of buy-and-hold single-family and small multi-family properties.

 

Through this work, Avery has gained in-depth knowledge of numerous facets of the home buying industry, including financing, property maintenance planning, returns on investments, and tenant management. She has also developed the creative negotiating skills necessary for honing in on the specific needs of a buyer or seller and working to get the best deal possible.

 

Avery decided that getting her real estate license was an inevitable next step in her passion for all things real estate as well as her strong love for negotiating and closing deals. Now she can help others experience the satisfaction and thrill of using real estate to facilitate the life they want to live—whether it’s finding that perfect property or selling one’s own home to provide for an exciting next chapter.

 

On the side, Avery writes for a nonprofit organization that is close to her heart. She is also actively involved in her church community and is learning to play the bluegrass-style fiddle. She enjoys water sports, hiking, running, travelling (especially to all the diverse parts of the United States), cooking, reading, and exploring everything from ideas to elaborate gardens.
